Tab-set Pillow Pendant
(registration instructions below)
Create a pendant with depth and interest utilizing tabs! Tabs are a cold-connection traditionally used to capture a stone or join pieces. (Think of paper dolls – and the tabs that were used to dress them…) This project highlights how tabs can be incorporated aesthetically. I have created custom blanks to streamline the learning curve for you. Once you see how the tabs work, you can create your own designs utilizing them. Class will feature discussion about the creation of the pattern and the reasons behind the decisions I made when creating it. Instructions will include the pattern so you can replicate the project by sawing out your own blanks. (Or you can always purchase additional kits from me.)
Discipline: Tab Setting
The utilization of tabs to secure an object in place.
Level: Beginner (*)
This project is considered beginner because the blanks are made for you.
